At Native Sol, we try to be mindful about our packaging and how not to create extra waste that would eventually end up in the landfill. Some of our efforts are reusing and upcycling items for printing our Business cards and shopping bags. For instance, we created a stamp for our logo and business information instead of massively printing them. It in turns become versatile and we use the stamps for our bags, tags, labels, invoices, mailers, etc.
We support our local eco resources like the Long Beach Depot for Creative Re:use where we find various supplies. Native Sol business cards for example are made from recycled cardboard cut outs sourced at The Depot. Some of the bags are also from their store that we stamp and reuse.
We realize it’s extra work and steps, but it goes well with the intention of living an earth friendly lifestyle. We don’t mind it and the long term goal is priceless.
