Raw Vegan burger
*Please note my recipes are to taste, so use your best judgement when making your own food.This is a good habit for general recipes, especially since not all ingredients will taste exactly the same. For instance, one clove of garlic may be stronger than the next one. Have fun!
2 med zucchinis (cut )
2-3 carrots (cut)
1/2 cup crimini mushrooms
1/2 cup of sunflower seeds (preferably soaked for 3-4 hours)
1/4 cup ground flaxseeds
2 cloves of garlic
1/3 cup of onions
1-2 tablespoons of Tamari
Sea salt to taste
Olive oil (optional)
Put all ingredients in the food processor and process until all ingredients are fully incorporated. It’s up to you how chunky you want your patty burgers. I make them fully blended or sometimes with more texture.
Put on dehydrator sheet / parchment paper in little or big patties.
Place in the dehydrator for 3-4 hours.
Eat with romaine leaves or sprouted bread. Add tomatoes, sauce, fresh onions, pickles etc…
Simple Green Smoothie to start the morning with a healthy energizing breakfast.
Take about 60% fruits (bananas, strawberries, peaches,etc) and 40% greens (kale, spinach, collard, chard, wild edibles, etc) and water. Put all in the blender and blend until smooth. You can add more fruits to make it sweeter.
This one is made with wild dandelion leaves, root, and flower (from the farmer’s market) and bananas and water. The kids love them!
